Here is October the 23rd...

As the dead month marches towards the brilliant pinnacle of All Hallows Eve, the ghosts that one may see become more and more frightful, and by turns, more dangerous.

This confusing mess of a monster causes more of a menace to itself than anyone else. It is in a perpetual state of confusion; each voice tries to out talk the last, and the resulting cacophony of noise and conflicting desires is maddening....Suffice to say, it is mad. The only way to get it to focus on a task such as that of pursuing and devouring a chosen victim, is by hearing the sweet peal of a bell, which it always carries on its person. Should you manage to remove or destroy the bell, it will fall back into the maelstrom of sound, and be rendered incapacitated. However, never tarry long whilst the ghost is so occupied; it is large, and it may just get lucky enough to cooperate just long enough to grab you.
